The pop-up roof tent was a fantastic feature, easily accommodating our group of four. The interior had plenty of storage space for our luggage and camping gear. The automatic heater was a lifesaver during the chilly Icelandic nights, ensuring we were always cozy and comfortable.We spent 10 days driving around the Ring Road, and the van performed flawlessly. The scenic routes were breathtaking, and we had countless opportunities to explore hidden gems and experience the Icelandic wilderness firsthand. The 4x4 option proved invaluable, particularly when we found ourselves on F1 roads, either intentionally when heading to Landmannalaugar or when Google Maps directed us on a few of the roads.Before our trip, we watched the rental company's YouTube video about the van, which provided us with valuable information about its features and capabilities. This gave us confidence in our choice and helped us feel prepared for our adventure.Overall, our camper van rental in Iceland was a resounding success. The van was well-equipped, easy to drive, and provided us with the freedom and flexibility to experience Iceland on our own terms. We rented a VW camper van 4 wheel drive for 4 people with RENT.IS. After 2 days of vacation we had an engine problem and the company gave us a second vehicle. We had some problems with the strap to move the back seats as the strap were not properly arranged but after some chats with the service person we were able to solve the problem. Some warning lights remained on throughout the trip but the company assured us that it was a sensor problem. We expected better preparation of the vehicle but overall the company was always helpful. The camper van experience was great, we got everywhere with the vehicle, all supplies were perfect. We had a great time.

I rented a jeep renegade from them for a week. They picked me up from the airport and the transportation to and from the airport was easy and nice. The check in process only took about 5 minutes. They made everything quick and seamless. The jeep worked perfectly. I had such a fun time exploring the country over the weekend and the jeep was the perfect vehicle for it! The check out process was just as easy - basically handed them the keys and they did a quick reviews. Then it was a short few minute wait and I was shuttled over to the airport. 10 out of 10 experience!

Easy pick up at the airport and quick shuttle to their offices just outside the airport. We rented the 2024 VW camper van and were completely satisfied. The van was super clean and comfortable. The diesel motor sipped fuel and it drove exceptionally well. It even handled many of the gravel roads in the highlands. Sleeping was cozy and convenient. What a great way to see Iceland. Returning was equally as easy and quick and within 5 minutes we were back in the airport.

Great camper with lots of useful features. We really enjoyed it and it was just the right size. Not too large that we could use it in the city but large enough for two adults and two kids. As with everything in Iceland the cost of the rental is quite high but we got a lot out of the camper. Pillows could have been better but the heating system worked great for those cold rainy nights.

Im giving five star for rent.is company. We had a best experience with them. We were picked up from the KEF AirPort to the office, then a man showed us everything what we need to know about how van working, everyone were so kind. The Van was managed with all the things, we needed for our 8 days journey around Iceland. We bought pack which came with kitchen cutlery and dishes, fridge, connection of electricity, table, chairs and sleeping bags.

We rented a camper van with Rent.is for two people for 6 days in Iceland. It was a small one but was amazingly well equipped, with everything you need to cook and eat, and with a heater working on a second battery, which was great for the cold nights.

Snagged a VW Caddy for our 7 day trip in Iceland. No issues at all, quite comfortable and reliable. The staff were friendly and helpful, they have a free shuttle service to and from the airport, and they’re open 24 hours for those early morning drop offs. I’m looking forward to going back to Iceland and I’ll definitely rent from them again.
